Me
My name is Saxon Emil Sitka and Emil Sitka was my father. I have a collection of items from his acting career including scripts, contracts, photos, programs and more. There are newspaper and magazine clippings, letters and postcards from "industry" people, and diaries and notebooks in my father's own writing. Lots of rare and unique stuff.
In addition, I collect posters, pictures and videos of my father's work and have amassed many images, tapes, films, and dvds. The collection is now quite large. Of course, the best part of any collection is sharing it, and I intend to use this website for that purpose.

As soon as news of his passing was reported, I began receiving mail from my father's legion of fans. I never realized he was still so popular or that he maintained correspondence with so many pen-pals. My mailbox was literally stuffed for weeks on end.
My father was fond of receiving phone calls and visits from fans that recalled him from the Stooge films, and many of these folks sought me out to express their affection and appreciation for my father. The phone rang and the e-mails poured in.
At first, I was surprised and overwhelmed, but I soon realized what a privilege and honor it was to represent my father to his fans. It was a real pleasure to speak with people from all walks of life about my father, the Stooges, and the benefits of laughter. From the fans, I began to appreciate that my father's life and legacy are part of the Golden Age of Hollywood and the legend of The Three Stooges.
The Emil Sitka Fan Club
Unable to keep up with the mail, I eventually began communicating with my father's fans and friends via a printed newsletter entitled The Fourth Stooge that was published through an enterprise I called the Emil Sitka Fan Club. The newsletter ran for 20 issues before my resources were exhausted and publication was suspended. It was a lot of fun and I had some avid fans of my own.
This website is now the primary means of expression for the Emil Sitka Fan Club, and I intend to load it up with more of the same great stuff used for The Fourth Stooge newsletter in the past. Please come back often as we intend to add material frequently and will eventually incorporate sound and video files. This is going to be fun!
